803372 m croppedThe Construction (Design and Management) Regulations originally came into force in 1994 and introduced the role of Planning Supervisor into the Construction Team.

The Regulations were updated in 2007 and changed the role of the Planning Supervisor to that of CDM Co-ordinator.

With extensive experience of the CDM Regulations we have acted on many occassions as CDM Co-ordinator maintaining communication and the flow of health and safety information throughout project teams.

We are well versed with both this Act and the Approved Code of Practice.

The Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2002 introduced duties to manage asbestos in all non domestic properties, requiring duty holders to:

  1. Assess whether premises contain asbestos;
  2. Assess the risk from asbestos; and
  3. Take action to manage the risk from asbestos.


The regulations have been updated and the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2012 came into force on 6 April 2012 
 We have a P405 surveyor who is qualified and experienced in the management of asbestos and advising clients in relation to discharging their duties under the Act.
